Active Schools Week
We had our Active School Week 20th-24th of May. On Monday we had a skipping workshop with Mark. The children took part in skipping workshops and practiced skills. At the end of the day there was a skipping demonstration for everyone to watch.
On Tuesday the children brought their bikes to school and cycled around the school building. The children had great fun cycling around!
On Wednesday we got the chance to play rugby in school.
On Thursday we learned to play cricket. This was a lot of fun because many of us had never played cricket before.
On Friday we played soccer with James Scott from the FAI. We did drills, warm up games and played some soccer matches.
We had a whole school relay race what was great fun! People from different classes worked together in teams.
